How to work
with us

Five steps from your first email to a signed report. The line drawing below is the whole process.

    Email us.

    Tell us the plant, the substance or the problem, and your deadline. A regulator’s letter or an old report helps. Write to Dr Azil, or straight to the specialist on the Contact page.

  2. E-102EXCHANGE · step 2 of 5

    We talk it through.

    A call or a site visit, usually with the engineer who would do the work. We tell you plainly if it is not something we do well.

  3. T-103SPECIFY · step 3 of 5

    You get a proposal.

    Scope, deliverables, timeline and fee, issued by PERUNDING UiTM, the university’s consultancy arm, so the contract is with the university and not with an individual.

  4. R-104REACT · step 4 of 5

    We do the work.

    Site surveys, sampling, lab tests or modelling, depending on the job. You get one named contact for the whole project.

  5. TK-105PRODUCT · step 5 of 5

    You get the report.

    Signed by a registered Professional Engineer; CIMAH reports by a DOSH-registered competent person. Your report stays yours. We count it on UiTM Expert, but we never publish it.

Short answers

Who signs the report?

A registered Professional Engineer. All seven core members are registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.

Who is the contract with?

Universiti Teknologi MARA. Proposals are issued through UiTM, not by an individual.

What kind of jobs do you take?

CIMAH safety reports, risk studies, corrosion analysis, process validation, environmental engineering and training. See the service sheets.

Can you train our staff?

Yes. Short courses on CIMAH, hazardous area classification and pipeline corrosion in CO2 and H2S service, on your site or ours.

Will our report be published?

No. We list the project on UiTM Expert, but the report stays yours.

Have you done this before?
